Finally... The iPad Center

When it was announced earlier this year that each teacher would get a classroom iPad there was a resounding "YESSSSSS!" from our staff meeting. I was so excited for this opportunity and knew there are so many great apps out there. There was only one problem... I had never used an iPad! (Yup, time get with the program Greta!) I also knew I had kids that would be able to use it better than I can (which they do) and some kids who were going to be in the same boat as I was. With the help of our media specialist I started to get the hang of it through some trial and error. When I felt competent enough to share it with the class it was time to set some expectations for using it before I handed it over... which leads me to my primary iPad resource pack!

You can get it at my Tpt store for $2 by clicking the image above or link below. Here's what's in it...
iPad Rules Posters
Classroom iPad Agreement Letter
iPad Evidence Student Response
Parts of an iPad Diagram
Official iPad Passes (lanyards)
iPad Log (Use in a binder or on a clipboard)
Try This App Student Recommendation Forms
iPad Expert Award (b/w & color)
iPad Center Signs (blue, purple, green)

And here is how I use some of them in my center...
The little spot on my counter for my center. I'm loving the box (kids call it the iPad's bed) because I always know where it is!

I have 3 sets of rules in the pack. I went with the visual set for my kiddos.

My sign is a little funky because I had to make it wrap around the mount for the bulletin board above it.

The *official* iPad pass. Makes it easy for me to see which kid I have given permission to because I forget! If you aren't wearing the iPad pass, you don't touch the iPad.

Wondering what that button does? This should give you a pretty good idea. I tried to stick with the things I anticipated they would need to use most.

Get it here!
