Keepin It Simple

I have a love/hate relationship with classroom jobs. In the past I had a job for every student in the class that we rotated weekly. In the beginning of the year, the students are excited to do their part. But as the year goes on... the motivation dwindles leaving me to pick up the slack. Come February classroom jobs are more of a nagging session from me. I find myself constantly saying "Who was supposed to get snack??" and "Why don't we have any sharp pencils!?" I determined part of the problem is there were too many jobs to keep track of. It is time for a change.
Here's the plan for this year... I'm going to try doing only two classroom helpers, one boy and one girl, for a week. This will {hopefully} be easier because they will just do everything! The downside might be... they will be doing everything. Will it be too much? Time will tell.
Oh, and my SUPER CUTE stars I used are a FREEBIE from Krista Wallden's Tpt store!
